What to expect from Appointment Today

Question

I have my pregnancy confirmation appointment this afternoon.  I am 5W4D today. I have a history of losses, but I have never had an appointment this early. 
Doctor said no ultrasound today, so just curious what to expect.

I didn't get an ultrasound  my 1st time either, they checked my vitals and weight, did a head to toe assessment, checked  my breasts for any lumps, checked my feet for swelling, took bloods for stds and to see if I have immunity to certain illness. Asked questions pertaining to family illness/history, my health, if I have any diseases, allergies, smoke, drink ect. Where it was all documented. Also had a teaching session with the health nurse and other pregnant  women that were further along and that's pretty much it. Then saw the doctor afterwards where he prescribed some Medication for nausea  and prenatals.
