Why do you fake orgasms?

I don't fake orgasms, but I get really close and then I can't. I don't have an orgasm every time, but I'm ok with that cause it still feels amazing.

I think it's generally a bad idea because it gives a false idea about what gets you off and is essentially lying to you partner during an act of intimacy, which is the worst. There's too much emphasis on orgasm. Sex without can be enjoyable too.

Sometimes no matter how turned on I am achieving an orgasm is really difficult. My SO doesn't quite understand that. For me it's greatly tied to my stress.  Being in school and working doesn't help.
