My doctor gave me the option to be induced at 39 weeks yesterday at my 36 week appointment. Baby is measuring on time, fluid and blood pressure are all great, everything is good thank God! So it's not medically necessary. She said that a new study shows the risk of c-section to be less with induction at 39 weeks versus induction at 41 so they are able to offer it electively.

I am so eager to meet her so I am tempted. I also hesitate due to a longer in-hospital labor and possibly more painful. I want to add Im not opposed to the epidural.

What reasons do you have regarding your opinion either way on this? 🙏😬🤗
