Boss is irritating my soul

I’m staying anon in case my boss has this lol.

I work for a family. I started a few months ago so I’m still fairly new to the job. I’m in contact with the old nanny who told me how difficult the mother (my boss) could be and how she ( the nanny) was almost never good enough to my boss.

The kids and I loveeee each other so much but the parents are so difficult.

This is the situation that made me want to rip out my hair

My bosses daughter (let’s call her romana) romana had braids in her hair for weeks and when it was time to take them down I texted my boss ( her name will be Wanda) Wanda asking if she would like me to set up another hair appointment.

Wanda went on to tell me that Romana’s hair was really weak from the braids and needed a break before going on a trip that was coming up. She never said yes but proceeded to tell me that romana’s hair was weak. I never made the appointment.

A couple of days ago romana got her hair twisted which is a protective style that romana would usually keep in her hair for two weeks.

I get a text today asking about the hair appointment... I nearly lost it. She asked if I ever made the appointment and when I told her what she told me about the weak hair, there was no acknowledgement of the fact that she never told me yes. It was just that I had to figure it out.

The hair braider they usually go to is booked today so I found one with GREAT reviews and she tells me that she doesn’t want anyone else to braid romana’s hair... which comes off to be as ridiculous because I found a solution to something that wasn’t even my fault, apologized for it as if it was and it’s still not good enough. I literally wanted to bang my head against the wall. So here I am, before work hours trying to figure out what to do
