How did you handle your first negative?

In about 8 days I will know weather or not I’m expecting. I’m scared I don’t wanna be heart broken. The days feels so long!!

I never got a negative pregnancy test - not because I conceived first time but because I NEVER tested early! If there’s one piece of advice I have, it’s that - as hard as it is, don’t test before your missed period. I’ve seen so many girls on here so upset after getting negatives for days on end or looking for false hope because they think they see the faintest of lines and I think that actually makes it harder and causes more upset. 
It was hard when af arrived each month but I tried not to dwell on it too much and look ahead to the next month. It might help to give yourself a ‘treat’ to look forward to if you’re not pregnant and couldn’t do if you were. Like arranging a girly night out and knowing you can drink, or booking in a spa day or going out for a meal and eating something you can’t while pregnant. 
Good luck though! You never know, you could be lucky and get caught this month!

best advice is to wait until you missed your period...you will go nutty if you keep testing too early

Honestly I just saw that I got my period... told my husband that this wasn’t our month and moved along.  It sucks, but conceiving a baby can take so long for no reason and if you start allowing yourself to get stressed and upset every time it doesn’t happen, it will make the process unbearable.
