Weaning and formula
Our baby boy recently turned 6 months and has been difficult to feed for the last 2-3 months. He will be distracted and refuse his bottle. You would have to keep trying so he becomes hungry enough to ignore it all and drink. He will always take a break during the bottle when before he would drink at a good pace to finish in one. I also have to sing about every animal that has existed for him to drink.
We are now introducing foods, both finger foods as BLW and purees fed by us. He hates it. Every thing he tries he gags at, spits out and throws. He spends the whole time shouting, growling and thrashing about. I know this is normal that they will dislike some food etc.
I got him weighed today and he has only gone up 7oz in 5 weeks and that has dropped him below the curve he was on. We have to take him back again in 2 weeks. They recommended giving more food more often as we are only offering one meal time and 4 bottles of milk.
Is anyone else's baby difficult to feed either milk and food or either one?
