Anyone taking a babymoon?

Anyone taking a babymoon? My husband and I are going to the beach for about 5 days for a short babymoon! I’m 27 weeks today and made sure my doc was ok with it! We’re road tripping so making sure I pack enough snacks and water and taking frequent breaks to stretch and use the bathroom 😂 Also packing my compression socks to prevent swelling! Can’t wait to be on the beach with my bump! 😍😍

I really, really, want one. My hubby has been super busy at work and I am getting ready to head back to work (I’m a teacher), so I don’t think it’s in the cards for us.

We did with our first (he’s 16 months) we went to Myrtle beach!

We technically had one in April that had been booked before we knew I was pregnant. We went to Paris, my lifelong dream. 
Had I known it would be the last vacation we’d have for awhile we would have gone somewhere tropical and more relaxing😂

Just got back from a week camping in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. We live in San Diego so I can walk to a tropical beach anytime I want 😊 And real trees are such a treat. 25 weeks and 1 day.

Just got back from mine... 29 weeks tomorrow. Spent 7 days at the beach and it was the most relaxed I’ve felt throughout this entire pregnancy. Back to reality sadly but anxiously awaiting my baby shower now!

We might! The only time he can get off work though is labor day weekend.... We're trying to decide if we want to pay labor day hotel prices. 🤦🏼‍♀️😥

I wish! I’m so high risk I can’t travel!! :( plus I live middle of no where so yeah just have to go somewhere local

Yes! We did a week and a half in Hawaii with kids and a week and a half in Santorini and Venice without kids. You may not be able to travel for a while so do it now!

We did! We only went about an hour and a half away from home, but it was far enough away that I wasn’t getting calls from work and didn’t feel the need to constantly check in with my stores. What was I going to do if there was a problem? It was exactly the break we needed. 
We’re going to visit DH’s family next week 10 hours away, but it’s not the same as taking time for just us on a beach doing nothing but enjoying each other’s company. His family stresses me out a little, tbh. But they have a family reunion every year at this time, and I couldn’t get time off last year for it.

We did for our first! We went to Clearwater for a week and it was the best😭 this time we have an almost toddler so no babymoon for us
