Yeah I don't think you should offer that formula again. It seems that baby didn't do well with it.
My daughter had bloody diarrhea once or twice though there wasn't that much blood. She had a cow mill protein allergy and a soy protein allergy that was causing her gastroenteritis. It resolved once I completely cut cows milk protein and soy from both of our diets.

It looks like an allergy. My son had blood in his stool when he was about 5 weeks old because of a milk protein allergy. It scared me so much, but it’s a fairly common symptom of an allergy. I’m not saying not to take it seriously, but I thought he was dying or something. Call his pediatrician and let them know/see when/if they want you to bring him in. Don’t give your baby that formula again because it’s probably something in there that’s causing the reaction.

Like others have said if may be a cow milk allergy but pooping this much blood is concerning. Take him to the doctors. Honestly, I would even take him to the ER. It could very well be just a milk allergy but I've never seen that much with that allergy.

Might be a milk allergy. My son just had this on Thursday. We are now giving him Nutramigen. It's a bit spendy but definitely works. But you should still talk to the doctor.

Oh poor baby :( maybe a cows milk allergy? My son had a tiny bit of blood, nothing like that and tested positive for cows milk allergy. He’s on nutramigen by enfamil and has been golden

My son is almost 3 years old and was pooping blood, he had salmonella. Hopefully it’s nothing bad and just an allergic reaction like others have mentioned.
