Milk protein allergy
Just took my baby to a GI specialist because he’s been having bloody stools and it turns out he most likely has a severe milk protein allergy. I asked if he will outgrow it and they said they will do a blood test at a year old to determine that but until then avoid dairy completely. For any moms that have had a child with a milk protein allergy did they outgrow it or did they end up being lactose intolerant? My husband and I are huge cheese people and honestly I love my baby but having to never cook with real cheese again will make me so sad 😭 Not to mention how much harder his life will be with having to find alternatives to things.
