Pros: - it’s 99.9% effective, the most effective method available outside of abstinence - it lasts 3 years (there’s studies now saying possibly 4 or 5 years, but it’s not officially approved by the manufacturers or FDA). - very low maintenance & little to no user error as it’s in ur arm Cons: - the most common side effect is irregular bleeding/spotting patterns. That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding, random bleeding, or frequent bleeding, at any given time. - it’s possible to experience other side effects at any given time as well, whether ur bleeding or not Personally, I’ve been using the implant for a little over 4.5 years & overall I love it!
