So today I took my little sister to her high school (which is where I graduated) and I saw a few of my old teachers. One of my old teachers came up to me and asked how I’ve been good. I told him that I’ve been good and he asked how my summer has been going. Before I could reply he answered for me and said, “being really lazy”. And I looked at him confused and I said why do you say that? And he told me that my best friend told him that.

Now my best friend was also my college roommate and we were supposed to graduate in May together and get our dream jobs but I dropped out last semester because I was going through depression and it got worse. I’m finally picking myself up but it hurts me that she told him and who knows who else she told. I messaged her and she denies it but what teacher would lie and say that? And how would he know what I’ve been up to if I haven’t talked to him in over a year?

All summer I was trying to find myself again and I applied to many jobs and tried my best. As my best friend, she knew how hard it was for me so for her to go behind my back and call me lazy? School isn’t easy and I’m still going back but it just really hurt me and idk if I’m overreacting.
