Opinions and thoughts please?

Tomorrow I have my first ultrasound according to lmp I should be 8 weeks and 3 days. The nurse called me yesterday asking if I could go back in for a urine test because the test I did 2 weeks ago came back negative after i took a positive home test the same morning (home test was taken at 630 am urine test at hospital was taken at 10 am). I went yesterday to take the urine test and the nurse said she would call me to let me know if the test was positive or negative. If its negative then we could cancel the appt. Well she never called me so I am still going to my appt tomorrow morning. Can I assume the test came back positive?
