I’m breastfeed and I don’t pump because I am with child 90% of the time. He will take formula when needed so that isn’t a problem. However, because I don’t pump I’m not sure how much I should pump in a pump n dump session if I choose to take the medicine when needed!?

UPDATE- spoke with a friend who is a pharmacist. And pumping and dumping doesn’t actually get anything out of your body...it would just be expected that more medicine would be in the breast milk for a certain number of hours following taking the medication. If you didn’t pump at all...you are still going to clear the medication out of your body in the same amount of time
