I have done 2 timed intercourse first one resulted in a miscarriage than did 2 iui and didn’t work. When should i move on to ivf?

We did 3 IUI’s and none of them worked. IVF worked first time ✌🏽

We did two IUIs unsuccessful. Moved to IVF (which we were told to go straight to) but we wanted to at least try IUI. We did IVF last month and sadly all three embryos were abnormal, so we were unsuccessful. Didn’t even get to transfer. Hoping next IVF cycle will be good! Whenever we can afford to try again 🤞🏻

Answer

We chose to skip iui.  Iui has the same success rate as natural conception and medicated/timed intercourse.  After 7 medicated/TI cycles, we didn't see an advantage to it, so we moved on to ivf.  Success on our first try.
