Tubal ligation?

What are the pros and cons to tubal ligation? I'm 30 and pregnant with my 3rd and last baby. I'm considering either getting my tubes tied or long term birth control but I'm not sure which...I know I'm 100% done after this one. I wasn't sure which group to post this in so here I am...or if anyone knows of another group that may be better able to answer this let me know!

Following. I’m 33 weeks with my 3rd and last, and have already signed the consent forms to have mine removed after birth. Wondering if it’s hard recovery (I’m not having a c-section, so not sure what the surgery consists of.)

I had my 3rd almost 4 months ago. One thing I learned is to make a decision before you are a month out. I ended up getting a c-section and my tubes didn't get tied because my ob just kept asking me what I wanted to do every time I went in. I kept telling her I either wanted my tubes tied or a long term form of bc... from what my dr told me is that it's a small incision. And only takes a few min to do. If i remember correctly you are restricted to lift no more the 10lbs no heavy cleaning/ lifting. As far as down time it's like 24 weeks as far as sex goes. But is you really want some good answers then you could always ask your ob.

I’m going to be completely honest with you, I am also 30 years old my baby is 6 weeks old today I was dead set on this was my last (3rd baby) I opted to get my tubes tied. The day after delivery vaginal I went in for surgery had them tied, I’m now regretting my decision not because I want more kids but the pain is worse than labor it’s self. I’m in chronic pain all day everyday, and it is still leaking was told 2 weeks after would be completely healed I go for another recheck Monday. My body rejects any iuds so this was my only option, I’m getting depressed about it now and was told I would not have any effects after 2 weeks
