Stolen money??

So I live in an apartment complex. We share a laundry room. Pretty much like a laundromat. When I opened a washer, there was a $50 dollar bill in there. I took it. Could I get in alot of trouble for that?

I mean you can’t exactly just advertise found money since anybody would try to claim it. Hold onto it for a week and if you don’t hear anything, I would keep it
