Too close in name ?

My step sisters daughter had a baby last year and I just realized she named her Nadia Rose .. my boyfriend and I have wanted to name our baby girl Naomi Rose for awhile and now I’m worried it will cause drama. Is that way to close in the name? Super bummed and need help with this one

Maybe pick a different floral middle name? I'm sure there's a list somewhere. If rose is a family name then it probably isnt a big deal.

Unless both these kids are going to be called by their first and middle on a regular basis I don’t see it as a problem lots of people share middle names especially in families

I don’t think their that close. Maybe mention to her the name you guys not love and see what she says. I get where your coming from tough with not wanting to cause drama.

Kids never go by their middle names unless they hate their first name. Middle names are barely even important as they get older I mean how often do you tell people your middle name? Nadya and Naomi sound kinda similar but not too much at all.
