Today my boyfriend was in a minor accident and our sons infant car seat was in the car at the time. There is damage to the car so it’s going in for repairs for a week and the other party hit the car on the side the seat was on. I looked on our manufactures website which states that if there is damage to the car or if the other car hit the side it was on then it automatically needs to be replaced since it’s only for one accident per seat. My question is does insurance cover the cost of the seat? I don’t feel comfortable putting him in it but I’m wondering if I need to just buy one tomorrow? Thanks in advance!
