Nail clipping?

So I used to just clip them when he'd fall asleep nursing at naptime but I've apparently been so successful at breaking the nursing/sleeping association that I haven't had a single opportunity in over a week. So how am I supposed to clip his nails? He's squirmy ALL. THE. TIME.

Mine likes to watch me cut his. He’ll sit still and let me, but I have to be fast because he gets impatient towards the end of the second hand.

I bought nail scissors for babies. They are amazing! Perfect for a squirmy baby. I grab my daughter’s hand while I am breastfeeding her and cut them then. Nail scissors are way easier for me than clippers

Hahaha that gif is so perfect! I don’t clip my son’s nails. My husband does the clipping while I provide the distraction with a toy or a song. I’ve only failed when I tried by myself and then resulted to filing which takes forever.

I don’t know. My mother in law does it when she’s babysitting usually. I can’t figure out how to do it either. I tried recently and only got through 3 fingers. Good luck!

I put on Sesame Street or have daddy read her a book and clip them while shes in a trance. Sometimes I also make silly sounds while doing it and turn it into a game.

I sing to him, which works 75% of the time if I’m fast enough. The last time I had his dad distract him so I may be employing that habit for a bit!
