My mom wants a tattoo

So I have tattoos all over my body. A full sleeve on one arm. Half a sleeve on the other, and my entire side is covered. My parents, more specifically my dad HATES tattoos. He’s very old school. But we’ve always had a relationship.

Well, my mom and I have never been close. There’s a long history there.

Of course I told her I was pregnant. I’ve invited her to appointments etc.

She now wants me to take her to get a tattoo for MY DAUGHTER.

I really just don’t know how I feel about this. My fiancé has one of his son (my step son) so of course he’ll add one for our daughter. And I want one for our daughter because she’s our rainbow baby. After to losses.

I just want it between my fiancé and I. And for my mom to all of a sudden want a tattoo after expressing how much she disliked mine over the years, us not being close, and now all of a sudden she wants one of my daughter.

Idk. I need your opinions. Should I let her just get one?

I appreciate all of your opinions. It’s not that she wants a tattoo that I’m feeling a little off about. I couldn’t careless if she just decided one day to get her entire body covered. I in fact think it would be badass for her to get a tattoo. It’s the fact that she wants one that represents my daughter when she did not give two craps about me until I got pregnant. . And she said she wants my daughters name. That’s what I’m feeling off about.
