My plan is the same, I know the literature says no more than 3 but I really like my IUI process.......IVF feels scary but may be necessary

I did one IUI. It failed and we planned on a second but it was cancelled due to ovarian cyst. I got emotional and now we are starting IVF as soon as my period starts. 
I’m super excited and ready. I know many people who have done multiple IUIs and have success after a few rounds but I decided with my insurance - I want my fertility credit not to go towards IUIs and just jump to something with higher odds. 
A part of me wonders if I should’ve done a couple more IUIs but after my IVF appointment I’m ready and confident in the process.

Research shows for most people, 3 IUIs is sufficient before moving to IVF. More doesn’t have a higher chance of success. However, if someone has trouble ovulating, or the cost of more IUI is super low compared to the cost of IVF, then it’s worth considering more. Good luck!!!
