So I’m in a bit of a heated argument with my best friends and close guy friend about him saying to my best friend “slutty skirt”.

(A bit of back story, we had a casual clothes day, where she wore a skirt at a reasonable length and got slut shamed all day, although we girls wear skirts as part of our uniform everyday)

He believes that it is not slut shaming, and she is over reacting.

It has completely broken her, and no matter what I say I can’t get him to get it through his testosterone filled head what slut shaming does to a woman, especially of teenage age.

Can someone please help me explain what slut shaming does to a girl, in a simple, manly way?
