Normal behavior ???

Question

My son is 1 year2 months old. He still does not talk.... and cries most of the time for nothing. Is this normal? He cries when he’s around other people. He freaks out when he sees my nephews and my brother in law that’s cause we live in the same house so shouldn’t he be use to seeing them? He cries like all the time. And he hits his head on stuff sometimes... and grunts sometimes as well.... 
is this normal behavior ? My first child never did this. She started talking SUPER EARLY & walking really early as well.

I’m no Dr but I don’t think it’s normal he should be able to say some words at this point and the crying and hitting himself might be because he can’t talk and can’t express himself , I have a cousin who’s son didn’t talk and was a bit aggressive and seemed to get very frustrated turned out he had water in his ears so he couldn’t hear causing him not being able to talk and not being able to talk meant he couldn’t vocalize what he wanted which made him upset and somewhat aggressive they did the surgery to fix it and with in no time he was like a whole new kid , I would strongly suggest you have him checked out , good luck !

Normal to an extent, but in combination, it may raise a few red flags. Talk to your doctor and maybe start keeping track of things like the frequency of hitting his head, if you know why he does it, how long it lasts, and how you redirected him (a chart usually helps). That would be good for you to start to see his triggers and the doctor to see how often it’s happening.

its fine for him not to be talking even untik 18 months, by then you could bring it up as concerning.
my son is going to be bilingual (exposed to multiple different languages) so i wasnt expecting him to talk anytime soon. He has finally said his first word though (“baby” lol) but its the only word he knows and says at the moment 🤷🏾‍♀️ lol its totally fine 😊 
(and my sons about 15 months now)
the over crying or head butting maybe more concerning? but prolly just different baby, different temperment 🤔
