When do newborns poop less?

My little girl has only pooped 2x in the last two days at 5 weeks. Is this when they poop less frequently? She seems sooooo miserable.

It’s normal. My son went almost a whole day without pooping. Then when he did it was a massive blowout!! His doctor said it’s normal for breastfed babies and they can sometimes go a few days without pooping

We were told it wont happen until about months from the lactation consultant but ourvpediatrigian said anywhere from once to 12 times a day. If you're concerned call the pediatrician.

Side note: she did just switch to similac alimentum (dairy free) and drank that only for a whole day and now is drinking mostly breast milk with a little of the formula

Breastmilk fed... not normal.
