My son is 2 and has never showed any favoritism to myself or his Dad... until this past week. He only wants me, only wants to be held by me, snuggled by me, and calls out for Mama in any given situation. I don’t mind at all (I love it 😍) but it’s really starting to get to my husband. In fact, he’s being very childish about it. He calls our son a jerk and says he doesn’t want to hang out with him anyways. I know he’s trying to be funny but it doesn’t come off that way, it’s downright mean. I’ve confronted him about it and he thinks it doesn’t matter because our son ‘doesn’t know what he’s talking about’. My husband is NOT a mean person but his actions are sometimes immature and misplaced. I’ve tried encouraging our son to go with Dada (he usually shakes his head no and cries or will go for a bit but them come back to me). I know he will go through ‘Mom’ phases and ‘Dad’ phases so I’m not too concerned, but there is a little tension in the air because of this, and I’m not quite sure what to do. Thoughts?
