So I am about 4 weeks. I would like to have an ultrasound between 6-8 weeks. I was fortunate enough to have an ultrasound with my 1st at 6,12,17,20,and 29 weeks. I had different insurance at the time and had to go to a special place for some reason. This time, I am on my husband's insurance and I can go to my local OBGYN. But when I talked to them yesterday they said they won't do one till 12 weeks. I really don't want to wait that long. Can I call my family dr and ask them to refer me somewhere to have an ultrasound. If I have to pay for it, I will. Thay doesn't bother me. I just don't want to wait that long.
