Natural or Managed third stage (placenta delivery)?

Will you have the injection to speed up the delivery of the placenta, or wait for your body to deliver naturally?

I’m confused. I’ve never heard of this? I thought it just came out after the baby, like at least within 10 minutes or so?

I'm in the UK so maybe it's different.
It's very common to be given an injection (sybtocinon) to speed up delivery of the placenta. 
You have to specifically say if you don't want it. Reason being it reduces risk of hemorrhage apparently

I have multiple risk factors for hemorrhage so im doing managed to be safe ( I have a succenturiate placenta and a marginal cord insertion)

I am hoping this time to naturally labor my placenta. Last time there was chaos  going on and another mother needed an emergency csection and only one OB. He basically ripped it out of me. He quickly removed it and stitched me up before running out of the room.

I’ve never heard of this 😕 with my first as soon as she came out my doctor told me to continually do a bunch of small pushes and it was out and I was stitched up and my doctor was gone within 10 mins.

I’ve never heard of an injection to spend it up. But with my first my doctor just let my body do its thing and helped it along by slightly pulling (not enough to rip it out but just to have some tension)
