Has anyone started giving their baby cereal in the bottle yet?

I exclusively breastfeed so it's not even a question but from what I've read you shouldn't so this for a number of reasons! It can be a choking hazard and it fills your baby up on empty calories. All they need right now is breastmilk or formula unless your doctor has indicated otherwise!

Yup! Our LO has is 2 months alike and has been getting it for two weeks. I wouldn’t change it for the world. We’ll start LO on veggies next week (of course they will be puréed). Our LO is thriving and only gets it twice a day.

Ask your pediatrician...I read to wait for 4-6 months because their digestive system may not be mature enough to process it and could be deadly (not sure how true that is....can’t trust google lol) I would just ask to be on the safe side. I have heard of mamas doing it as early as 6 weeks due to reflux issues, but under their drs orders.

Yes, his pediatrician recommended it for his reflux instead of putting him on medicine right off the bat. It’s helped! I put a tsp. in most of his bottles.

No but I am going to ask at her 4 month appointment.  I didn't even think about it at her 2 month last week because of the shots I totally forgot.
