2 year olds diet
My daughter will be 3 in November. She’s had issues with constipation basically since she started solids at 6 months old. Today I started writing down everything she eats in a day to either show her doctor or just figure out what I could be doing better 🤷🏻♀️ Here’s what she ate today. Opinions?
Breakfast-
3/4 of a peach
Oatmeal (with coconut milk)
1/4 a very ripe banana (very ripe shouldn’t be an issue and I only gave her a little)
Apple juice with probiotic mixed in
Lunch-
Fish sticks
Tomato
Raspberries
Whole wheat pasta with butter
Spinach with olive oil
Water
Multivitamin that also has 1 probiotic strain
Snack-
Coconut milk ice cream (dairy constipates her especially real ice cream)
Dinner-
Chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, a little cheese, mayo, on mostly whole wheat homemade bread
Extra tomatoes
Pickles
Cucumbers
Apricot/peach/apple juice
Water
I try to avoid the major constipating foods but I think that’s why she’s only in the 5th percentile for weight (although I probably am in the 5th percentile too as an adult so it also makes sense that she’d be on the small side) ?
