I’m not trying to scare you but there are many types of seizures and sometimes they do random movements like that without going unconscious. I’ve been through that stuff with my son. I would definitely call to get something set up ASAP or even possibly take him to the ER. It’s better safe than sorry. Prayers and good luck to you guys! 💞

Hopefully everything’s okay! I wasn’t trying to scare you, I just see a lot of medical. I know tremors can be normal up to a certain age? Hope all goes well! 💞

This is what I read to that it would be possible seizures or something neurological. 🙁. I’m just really hoping it’s not. He shows no other signs of being unhealthy as far as development. I’m just praying it’s not that. I’ll call and schedule with his dr, if it starts happening more frequently then I’ll take him to the ER. I need to track how often they happen. It only happens in is lower lip and his legs. I hope your little one is ok and he’s doing well.

Dunno about the legs but a chin quiver is totally normal. Our baby does it. Babies this age can't shiver to warm themselves up yet so they're not cold.

If you hear before me please let me know! I’m mostly getting other people’s babies do it too and that it’s normal.

I’m a FTM too, so I’m right there with you! But my little guy only has the leg shaking or lip shivering for a couple seconds. He’s done the lip shivering since he’s been born and he’s almost 3 weeks, and only done the leg shaking twice. I hope it’s just something that’s normal. I would appreciate it if you did get back to me on the issue, it would mean a lot. I’m kind of thinking of calling his pediatrician Monday just to see what she has to say.

I’m sorry. 🙁 when I get answers I’ll let you know. I have read a few different things one being that it’s perfectly normal and if you touch baby when it happens and it stops then there’s no need for concern; another says it could be a vitamin D deficiency; and the extreme is the seizures or nuero issue. I didn’t mean to make anyone worry, I’m just a FTM and don’t know much about the new born phase.
