Best time for a baby shower?

When is the best time? Please comment your logic or experience. 
I was thinking 31weeks but they tell me it’s too early????

I did mine at 31 weeks and was exhausted after. It obviously depends on the mom, but I’m glad I have plenty of time to put things away, organize, clean, learn how to use things, buy the rest, make returns, etc.

I’m having one at 29 weeks and another (different states) at 35. It was what the hosts had available for dates.

I had mine at 31 weeks. At that point I still felt good and was able to walk around comfortably, I had lots of energy, and was able to get stuff done. If I had waited much longer I would have been miserable.

I'm doing mine at 20 weeks lol but it has more to do with the fact that a) my OCD needs to have everything in place for the baby like ASAP lol and b) the weather, I'm due in January so i want to have it before the weather gets cool (I'm from Canada) and my moms backyard is the ultimate party place! Honestly, do it whenever you want. Theres no right or wrong time. Everyone is different and you're entitled to have YOUR baby shower when YOU want!

Mine was planned for 37 weeks. I had my baby at 36 weeks...so we cancelled. I would do 30-34 and gives you a little time to prepare.

I wouldn’t schedule it too late. For one, you’ll probably super tired and just wanting to relax anyway. And for 2, you never know about early labor 🤷🏻‍♀️ I ended up having complications and needing to be induced at 36 weeks. My baby shower was scheduled for a week after that but I ended up just cancelling it.
