Has sweeps worked for anyone ??

Question

This will be my third and I will be getting a sweep at 36.1 weeks onTuesday (due to bleeding throughout my pregnancy) and was wondering what's people's stories on them and if they worked and what you have done after them like walking sex or anything?

With my first I was already in labour and when the midwife checked me she gave me a sweep to ‘get it going quicker’ and it sure did. I was 3cm before then

With my first, no unfortunately.

With my first it was successful, I had it done due to continual high BP. I had 1 and my waters broke that afternoon.
I’ll be getting my first one next week and another the week after hoping it will move things along.
