Is it possible for me to pass my cold sore to my 5 month old? I did some googling and it wasnt super helpful. A lot of the information was specific to newborns. I've had cold sores my entire life and they typically pop up during times of stress. I'm going back to work in 2 weeks so it seems about the right time.

Anyway.... I'm worried about passing it to her because I know babies can have really severe reaction. Can I still kiss her just not on her mouth or hands?

Any help would be great. We have a doctors appointment Tuesday (for a weight check) so i can talk to her doctor then. But any advice would be great.
