Process of temping?

So I been taking ovulation tests the past two months and I have an understanding of how that works. I haven’t been temping though. We bd like every day or every other day this month but pretty sure AF is about to show so I’m planning on temping as well next month. Can someone explain it to me?

You need a bbt thermometer so you can see 2 decimal places. They tend to be more accurate anyway.
You want to temp either orally or vaginally, the same time every day before you start moving around. Vaginally is more accurate since you may sleep with your mouth open and other possible adjustments.
Set an alarm for yourself maybe right before you’re supposed to wake up and just keep the thermometer by your bed so you can just grab it.
I would recommend the fertility friend app for keep track since it’s more responsive to data input than glow.
