Bassinet for Stroller?

Question

How many of you have the bassinet for your stroller? Is it worth it at 8 weeks?

I have the evenflo pivot travel system ( stroller, car seat and bassinet) my Baby is exactly 8 weeks and he LOVES the bassinet. Plus I find it convenient because I can change his diaper while he’s laying down in it.

We also have evenflo system that had a bassinet that transitions to toddler seat and came with car seat. My LO loves both bassinet and car seat. I like bassinet option because he can sleep on his back safely and I can change his diaper anywhere. But I guess every baby is different in their preferences.

It's worth it for us because we don't have a car so stroller or carrier is the only way to get around with our LO (we live in a big city and have no need for a car). We take him on daily walks and don't have to worry about him spending too much time in a "bad" position because he's flat on his back so he can be in it for hours. It's also basically a portable bed so he can sleep in it at Grandma's or wherever. 
As someone else mentioned it's recommended until 6 months or until they're sitting up on their own from lying down.

I have the UppaBaby stroller and it came with the bassinet. My baby is 11 weeks tomorrow and he stopped using it around 9 weeks because he was just too long for it. I don’t think it was worth the money honestly, we could’ve gotten a stroller that didn’t come with it.

I have the Uppababy Vista which came with a bassinet and I’m glad I got it because she sleeps in it at night! I bought the stand and have it right next to my bed. However, for trips I use the car seat that just snaps in. So if my baby didn’t use it at night to sleep then no it wouldn’t have been worth it. It would’ve sucked because it’s so cute ❤️

I have a baby jogger city select double stroller, I just use the car seat and then will transition into the regular seat when she can sit up, I didn’t think a bassinet was worth it. My friend got a bassinet for her daughter and she’s 3 and a half months now in the stroller seat

I do.. I have a city select stroller and the deluxe pram. Am I glad I have it? Yes because I can throw my mosquito net on it and sit outside. Is it completely necessary? No. Says you should use it until baby is 6 months. Most of the time I keep baby in car seat and snap that onto my stroller for quick trips.
