Can FRERs give false positives?

I got a super faint BFP today and I really want to be excited but I’m too scared to get my hopes up. What if it ends up being a super noticeable evap or a false positive? I’m 11 DPO so couldn’t it end up being a chemical pregnancy? I’d really appreciate some feedback about other people’s experiences.

They usually don’t give false positives but people often read too far into the results. Squinting and tweaking the picture can almost definitely make you see a line that isn’t there. Most of the time, the “line” people think they’re seeing is just the indent where the dye would go if it was positive. If you take apart an FRER you will see the indent. People usually end up disappointed because they looked too hard. Good luck though 😊😊 if it’s positive, you’ll know!!

I don’t think it’s a false positive but some of your concerns are valid. Just wait a few more days and test again to see if the line gets darker.

I’m 11 dpo today too! I am too scared to test yet though lol I would just wait a couple days and test again! 
But if there’s a faint line today for your then I wouldn’t be worried!! I would be excited!!!
