Why is my baby so comfortable in me😭

Going on 40w4d with my first and absolutely ZERO signs of labor. I’m exhausted mentally and physically because I just can’t sleep anymore, I’m running off of 2-3 hours of sleep a day (good practice for when she’s here I guess) I have an appt on Monday and I’m PRAYING they’ll set a date to have me induced by the end of the week. Any other mamas going through this? And how far along were you when you were induced?

I was induced at 40+6 due to no dilation or effacement. It took almost 56 hours. If you do have to be induced please refuse Cydotec. It is not FDA approved for inductions, the company that makes it doesn't even recommend it for inductions, it can cause serious complications such as uterine rupture, and is most commonly used for early term abortions.

Happens. Especially in younger women since they are more likely to have good blood flow to the placenta. My baby came 41+0 🤷 I know it's annoying but I'd suggest just wait (and tell them people who ask daily if you have the baby yet to fuck off)

I was induced at 40w+2d I had been asking to be induced tho bc no signs as well and I live far away from my family and they were coming for the due date and I didn’t want the chance to go too far over without my mom being there.

Start going for walks and doing squats. when my cousin was overdue and fed up we walked around my neighborhood for like 2 hours and everytime we took a "break" she did squats. She went into labour that day.
