Do you feel bad saying no to the cashier when they ask if you want to donate a dollar to charity?

So today I ran some errands and went grocery shopping and had lunch. So first stop I went to Panda Express for lunch and they asked when I paid for my food if I would like to donate a dollar to charity. I already heard the 2 people in front of me say yes and I said yes too. I ate my food there I was near the register it was busy and every single person said yes to donating a dollar.

Then at the grocery store same thing “would you like to donate a dollar to some charity? This had me thinking do you feel pressured to say yes? Do you feel bad to say no? Do you think having the cashier ask every customer if they want to donate is appropriate or should they just have a collection bin at the register instead of asking?
