How are you organizing baby’s clothes?

This is for those people who don’t have closets for baby. How are you organizing their things? 
By sizes (newborn, 1-3 months, 3-6) or by what the item is (onesies, sleepers, shirts, dresses, etc)?

I bought one of those big plastic drawers set for baby because we live in a one bedroom and our closet is super full already. Anyway, i washed all the newborn-3months clothes then divided them by size and type (pjs, pants, shirts, dresses, shorts) into each drawer starting with what she would most likely wear first, then progressing in size and type ending on 3months warmer clothes for the transition into winter. The rest of her clothes 3-6 months and on are still unwashed in separate plastic storage bins put away until she gets closer to using them. We don't have a ton of space so that worked best for us.

i would get the plastic organizers from walmart. you can stack them, or have them side by side & they’re spacious.

We have newborn, 0-3 and 3-6 hung up in the closet. They're organized by size then by type (body suit, sleeper, shirt). In the dresser we have drawer organizers for pants, hats socks and some sleepers. The closet has little circle dividers for different sizes but really each rack is a different size anyway except I have a small amount of premie sizes on the same one as newborn.

We do have a closet, but I only keep the nicer clothes in there and use it more for storing larger clothes or specialty things. I have those fabric boxes that are separated by sizes and different kinds of items below the changing table and in this cube organizer thing in her room. We keep same size sleepers together, onesies together, pants together, etc. we also keep some things like socks, hats, sleep sacks, baby blankets, etc. in the pouches of a shoe rack over the closet door. It worked for our son until we bought a dresser and basically do the same thing just with dresser drawers.

I did plastic drawer bins for the "big boy" clothes (anything past 6 months) and got underwear organizers for the tiny dresser from Walmart to roll up the onesies/outfits for 0-3. I might get another set of plastic drawer bins for the other extras-- soaps, lotions, wipes...

i’ve got my entire closet organized so i’m
not overwhelmed. i’ve got newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 month, 6-9 months, 9-12, months and so on. i also went to walmart and bought some organizers and placed them in the closet and put away pajamas, everyday onesies, little pants etc by months. i have two storage bins under my bathroom sink with the babies washcloths, and towels and other bathing necessities. in her closet i’ve got her hats, mittens, and socks. in another all
hair accessories— etc.

So newborn / 0-3 are hanging up in the little space we have for him. The rest are organized in the hall closet in piles by size -- 3mo, 3-6, 6mo, 6-9, 9mo+ (dont have that much 9mo+ right now)

I've got mine in dresser drawers. I have 0-3 in one drawer, organized by item etc. And then the next size up and so on.

Each drawer in the dresser is for a different age right now. The clothes are so small I have newborn to 3 months all in one. I made drawer separators myself and covered them in contact paper so it looks cute. It separates the drawer into 4 rectangles. Sleepers, onesies, pants, accessories. We do have a closet so jackets, sweatshirts, nicer outfits I hung. I could see it might be more difficult for a girl bc they have more accessories.
