Bringing baby home from hospital?

My baby is due in January, I have no car and have no one that could pick me up after I deliver, I live in UK (West Midlands) and just wondering if I could get a cab after or take public transport?

I wouldn’t take public transport because your baby will have basically no immune system at that point. If they caught something nasty it could end up being quite serious ! Cab is a much better idea.

Where I live they won't let you go home unless you prove you have a carseat installed so bring one with you if you take a cab.

Yes you can I got a taxi coming home with my first had know problems my second I had my husbands mum bring us back but if I didn’t I’d of got a taxi as long as baby’s in his or her car seat you’ll be fine they usually advise someone is with you in the taxi partner etc carry baby down for you that’s what they advised me anyway with my second

I got a taxi with my first. Just use a taxi. U cannot - CANNOT - use public transport. 
Save up for a taxi fare and put it In your hospital bag.
