When is the first of the 2nd trimester?

I’ve read conflicting things. My app told me that I’m entering the second trimester, but I’m 12+1 today. Just confused 🤷🏻‍♀️ 
(Mostly wanting to know because the sickness is out of hand and I’m dying for relief)

You’re technically in your 13th week that’s why, 13 weeks is second trimester though

I'm glad I wasn't the only one confused by that this morning. I am SO sure that we'll actually be in our 2nd trimesters NEXT Saturday.
