Sore nipples from bra?

Does anyone get really sore nipples from their strapless bra? Mine is padded and I have to wear it with some shirt but I find my nipples get soooo sore from them. I’m a 32 D , My normal lightly lined bra for everyday use never does that! Wanted to see if anyone else had this problem!
