Husband coming at the end of shower to be there when opening presents?

I was wondering opinions on my husband coming at the the end of my baby shower when we open presents. Its our first child after a long IVF infertility journey. A lot of his family (gma cousins etc) will be there... weird or appropriate?

This is my first baby shower and it's coed. I'm happy my husband is going to be there with me as I hate being the center of attention.

Our first shower as well as this one was coed. However the men just kinda mulled around and went outside until the gifts then he came back in to sit with me to help open. I'm an awkward person so it was nice to have him up beside me to help get the presents and thank everyone together

My husband told me NOPE he’s not going lol ok was like that’s fine haha he missed out on the good food, but it was a majority my family anyways and all the guys ended up somewhere else anyways.
