1st Period or Spotting after MMC D&C

I am recovering from my MMC and I am exactly 3 weeks Post D&C. This am I noticed light red/pink/brown spotting.. last year with my last MMC and D&C I had nothing until I had a full period at about 5 weeks post D&C. This time, it's so much earlier. My bleeding was very light and stopped within the first week and now this. I felt like I ovulated right away.. so I'm not sure this is a new period or just a continuation of healing from D&C. Can anyone give me some insight? If it becomes heavier I will call DR, but for now, I'm just curious. Thanks!
