So my baby turned a year old July 20 and she still doesn’t call ME Mama. She can say Mama, Hi and Bye (and wave) and knows and tries to say ballon, bottle, cup, bear (her stuffed animal), and says all the sounds of many animals when I say “what does a ____ say.” But she doesn’t call ME Mama and I don’t think has connected that. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this normal? Thank you! BTW she walks and makes sounds and is engaged all the time.
