What gives.. positive opk bfn on HPT

I have pcos.. af due today. Took opk blazing positive but negative hpt even on first response.. no ovulation symptoms just cramps and sore boobs. Today makes cd 39. Last af was 7/11. Anyone else experience this.. what was the outcome.
