Four months ago when I told my husband I wanted a divorce it all seemed impossible and all I could think was "What am I doing?!". I had been a stay-at-home wife. I didn't have a job. I had no money and no place to go. I thought I couldn't possibly get through this in one piece, but guess what. I got a job. I've been making my own money. Our court date was Thursday and the divorce is final. We went uncontested self-represented and I have no lawyer expenses, it cost barely anything. I have my own bank account, my own credit card, my own phone line, my own car insurance. I'm doing it! All the things I thought I couldn't do on my own. Last piece of the puzzle is moving into my own apartment which will be happening soon.

I just want you ladies to know, if you are struggling through a divorce and can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, you can do it. It's scary and it's hard work but you can do it and you can make it on your own. I believe in you!
