Probiotics?

Is anyone giving their LO probiotics? My poor babe has always had a rough time pooping and with the introduction of some puréed veggies recently it has gotten worse. Just wondering if the introduction of probiotics might help him or if it is too early? He will be 5 months tomorrow (8/19).

Apple and Pear purée — works wonders, the fiber helps move everything along. Many sources recommend this as one of the first foods. We introed Apple 3rd and it’s helped big time. A little cool boiled water after food is also suggested, I just offer a couple of spoonfuls.

We have always given probiotics. All my kids take them too.

My daughter has taken probiotics since 3 weeks old. She does great in them! We have used Mommy’s Bliss and Gerber Soothe. We have been using Gerber Soothe, she takes them really well and she doesn’t have any poo problems!

We’ve always given probiotics and I noticed a drastic difference with them. Also pear purée and pear juice is great for constipation.

I don't believe it's too early, we were giving them during the newborn phase to help with gas and indigestion. Considering going back to them to help with constipation as well, but prune juice does wonders.
