Am I the only one who dislikes the term rainbow baby?

I get it, I really do... I had 3 recurrent miscarriages before this baby... And one before my 2nd son. 
I just don't like labels.... It makes me feel awkward, like this baby is more special than any others? I think I am in the minority here, was just wondering if other people feel the same?

I like it personally, I feel like there's hope over the rainbow and there's hope with this baby. But that's just how I think of it, but to each their own.

I get why you don't like it.  And by no means is it requires to use the term.  But it's really just supposed to represent a hope after a loss.  I think it's really helpful and healing for some.  My daughter is my rainbow baby after the loss of my 4 day old son and even though I don't refer her to that often and in fact didn't even know the term until my daughter was 3 (she's 7 now) I like the idea of knowing that she was something very special after such a devastating loss.  Is she more special than my son or the baby I'm carrying, no; but she brought me a whole lot of healing when I needed it most.

I don't mind it, but I do feel like it can be confusing especially since the rainbow is commonly a representation for LGBTQ pride & social movements. At first I thought a rainbow baby meant children of LGBTQ families

Honestly I felt the same way. I had to google what it meant because I'd never heard before this pregnancy. After I read it I became softer to the term especially since I miscarried this Feb. But I still don't feel comfortable using the term. I get what you're saying though.
