Induction?

Ladies that were induced...how did your experience go?

Would you recommend it or Would you have avoided it, if you could?

My experience was great. Went in at 530 in the morning and had her by 530 pm. It was nice to be prepared.

Well my first I was very excited and couldn't wait another 6 days so I asked my dr to be induced and he had me go in the next day for inducement,, after being induced I was in labor for almost 15 hours,, I don't regret it cause it was exciting waiting to meet my baby, it was also less painful since I knew I was going into labor and as soon as I felt contractions getting worse I had the epidural since I expected the pain,, it was a cool experience to be able to expect the pain as wanted,, I don't regret it since my second I went into labor at 2 in morning not expecting and was the most painful contractions

I have been induced twice, and kinda hoping for the same in February. It kicks things off, that's for sure. Be prepared, contractions will start easy but pick up quick. That being said, if you're getting an epidural, you're good. I delivered my first in 8hrs, my second in about 4 and a half! I have no clue what natural labor feels like, in a way I would like to experience it but at the same time I hate hospitals, so I'd rather get the show on the road! I will add that once I got my epidural, I dozed off through some off the chart contractions! It makes it nice too, because you can plan more. Knowing when you will be admitted, vs waiting to go into labor at home.

I was induced both kids and plan to do it this time around too I think it's the best way at least u will be prepared and not have to worry about going into labor anywhere or water breaking any place

I'll be living a 15hr drive from my mom and absolutely NEED her to be there so I was really hoping I could be induced! I'm only 18+3 but wondering if doctors will induce you on your due date or you have to wait. Does it depend on the doctor? Ah!

Also if your a first time mommy, it depends if you want to expect the pain as being induced or if you want it to be unexpected at any time of day or night, if you want to expect it I would recommend the epidural if you want it to happen anytime the baby is ready I do t recommend it,, I'm a mother to 3 and pregnant with my last

I wouldn't ever plan one unless medically needed. I was induced with my first due to preeclampsia. It went perfectly but this time around I really wanna go on my own and do it with no medicines!
